Rick Tananis D.D.S.
Rick Tananis has committed himself to excellence in dentistry as a student, a practitioner, and as a well regarded instructor. He received his bachelor’s degree from St. Joseph’s College, his dental degree from Temple University, and a Fellowship in Oral Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Tananis established his first private practice in 1988, and has also served as a clinical director for other larger clinics. He has served as a dental instructor at Temple Dental School and is a a clinical assistant professor at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He is also a member of the ADA, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and American Society of Dentistry for Children (among others). He is active in his community, tutoring at the Methodist Home for Children, and serving on the Boards of the Old City Civic Association and Historic East Market Street.. |

Thomas Bachstein, D.M.D.
Thomas Bachstein is a native of Syracuse, New York. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Syracuse University in 1989 and his D.M.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1994. After graduation from Penn, he obtained a post-graduate certificate of Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) from Temple University School of Dentistry. It was also at Temple where he stayed on as a part-time faculty member in the departments of Restorative Dentistry and Oral Medicine. He currently practices general dentistry with emphasis of family and esthetic care. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and International Dental Fraternity, Alpha Omega, and lives with his two children in Bryn Mawr. |
